Make An Animal Mask
Today we will be making an animal mask. This project is one of the most popular ones at the studio-especially for younger kids. I generally precut the ear and nose pieces, but for this project I am letting you cut them since you are deciding what kind of animal you want to make. Here is what you will need:
Cardboard Mask Base
Felt with adhesive backing
Tempera Paint Sticks
Scissors
Marker or Pencil

First, cover the mask with the tempera paint sticks. You can use multiple colors or draw a pattern if you like.Turn the felt on the white backing side and draw an ear. Then cut the ears out of the felt and stick them on. I show a trick to making each ear look the same which I show in the video below. After that, draw and cut out a nose, mouth, whiskers, etc on stick them on the mask.
