Depending on the ages of your guests of honor and your party guests, our party activities will vary based on the themes of the parties and the activities. Round up a group of some of their closest friends, relatives, or classmates, and we’ll work with you to plan from our variety of different art party projects for the most unique and personal experience.

Planning the Perfect Kids Art Party

At CREATE studio, we’ll provide the space in our studio in Lexington, Kentucky (or we can come to you and set up a mobile art party in your space). No matter which option you choose, we provide the arts & crafts instruction and fun. All you have to do is give us a call. Creating a memorable experience for kids is easy with just a few of our tips:

• Select a theme that your child loves and can relate to. If your child loves animals, choose an animal-themed party. If they love princesses, then go with a princess theme! If you’re celebrating a tween or teen, then art itself is enough to be the theme – choose a medium in which they’ve been expressing interest, like paint or sculpture as a theme.
• Purchase or make invitations that reflect the theme of your kid’s art party. For example, if you’re having an animal-themed kids art party, send out invitations featuring cute kittens or puppies on them (or both). For older kids, try invitations that feature art from a particular era, like pop-art-themed invites for a cool 70s-in-the-90s vibe, or go retro 2000s with fun clip art invites.
• Consider providing snacks or refreshments that fit with the theme of the party. At CREATE studio, you may bring your own prepared food or feel free to have it delivered. We do not offer cold storage – however, coolers are allowed.
• Bring your cell phones and cameras fully charged! Nothing is worse than going to take a memorable photograph and finding that your battery is about to fade right when you want to snap that picture. Make sure your devices are charged up and ready to go so you can take keepsake photos and videos of your party moments for posterity.
