CREATE studio offers classes for kids ages 18 months to 15 years old. We offer monthly workshops and weekly art classes. We are always adding new classes! We also offer private classes for small groups. Email info@createstudioky.com for more information.

After School Art Club
The after-school program at CREATE is designed to provide fun and supportive environment to help grow your child's creativity. Each day a teacher from CREATE will greet your child after school at Maxwell Elementary then walk to CREATE where children may stay until 5:30 pm. In this relaxed atmosphere, children ages 5-11, your child will learn to have fun with art while practicing the basic elements of art, including various types of artistic styles and art history influences. Children are also provided opportunities to design and build creative projects in our makerspace during their free time and have unstructured free play at Woodland Park (weather permitting).
Workshops and Classes
Kids from toddlers to teens are excited & enriched through our fine art age and developmentally appropriate classes, parties, camps and workshops. Mixed media activities include painting, drawing, collage, printmaking, sculpture & more!
Regardless of the project, materials or medium we are working with, children are given suggested topics and techniques to stimulate their imagination and help them to visualize their ideas. They are not always given prescribed step-by-step procedures, directions, or examples to copy, which can inhibit self-expression and lead to a frustrating urge for perfection in the child.
